John Donahue has been leading the company since 2017 after assuming a similar role at eBay. Donahue has also been a member of Nike’s board of directors for 5 years and is now the general manager. Slootman precedes McDermott

ServiceNow was established in 2004 under the name of Glidesoft and was renamed to its current name in 2011. American Dutch investor and entrepreneur Frank Slootman (former CEO of DataDomain) led ServiceNow from 2011 to 2017, after which Donahue took over.

McDermott has worked for SAP for 17 years and has been the CEO since 2010. During this period, he tripled the company’s market value to approximately $140 billion and guided the company’s transition from a typical local ERP to one of the cloud services. .
