ServiceNow acquires partner Fairchild Resiliency Systems

ServiceNow has announced its intention to acquire Fairchild Resiliency Systems, a Boston-based business continuity management (BCM) company. The company was listed as a challenger in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for SCM Solutions in 2019. The financial terms of the transaction should be finalized before the end of the year, but they were not disclosed. Fairchield is currently a partner of Santa Clara Corporation.

Fairchild’s BCM solution is built on the Now platform to help organizations plan their activities to continue working during service and process interruptions. With Fairchild, ServiceNow plans to expand its risk portfolio by combining Fairchild’s business continuity capabilities with ServiceNow’s operational, supplier and IT risk management capabilities, enabling companies to better manage risks.

Please note that Fairchild’s SCM solution is integrated with ServiceNow IT service management and integrated risk management.It is also used internally by ServiceNow

The announcement was made two weeks after ServiceNow acquired Attivio’s artificial intelligence-based cognitive search platform.
