Andre Hoekzema, former director of Google Cloud’s Benelux Economic Union, began serving as Vice President of Servicenow’s Benelux Economic Union, responsible for the entire business in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Servicenow provides IT solutions to improve the company’s IT, HR, security and CMS.
Hoekzema comes from Google Cloud. In the past six years, he has held various management positions here, the last three of which are country managers in the three countries of the Benelux. Hoekzema reported via LinkedIn that he can look back at a guiding time during which he discovered and developed a better version of himself.
The CEO has worked at Google for several ICT companies. His career began in Exact, and then he started working at Atos. Then, he worked at Microsoft for eight years. Since the summer of 2018, Hoekzema has been a board member of the Big Data Alliance.
Now serving
Since the end of 2019, Servicenow has been led by CEO Bill McDermott, who was previously the CEO of SAP (co-). He succeeded John Donahoe, the general manager of the American organization for more than two years.
IT suppliers achieved profits for the first time in fiscal 2019. In previous years, it was red. In 2018, the organization’s net loss exceeded 23 million euros. A loss of 130 million euros in 2017, and a loss of no less than 363 million euros in 2016.
