SolarWinds announces planned integration with ServiceNow Service Graph Connector

The Service Graph Connector utilizes the expertise of ServiceNow technology partners and ServiceNow engineering technology to provide a fast and reliable method for importing third-party data into ServiceNow Service Graph and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The service graph connector for SolarWinds Orion enables customers to:

  • Automatically use the list discovered by SolarWinds Orion Platform products to populate the service graph and CMDB, including network equipment, server systems and public cloud instances. This will increase the information that ServiceNow fills in the CMDB.

  • Use Service Graph and CMDB to arrange the synchronization and reconciliation of asset data, including system hardware components, network interfaces, operating system details, installed software, cloud instance information, etc.

  • Establish associations and stack relationships based on the discovered environment, so as to perform faster root cause and impact analysis on interrupts.
